Ole Miss – A Finished Baby Quilt

Another sweet quilt is in the books!  We had a great time picking the reds and blues for this one and the pops of white really highlight all the fun prints and patterns.

Ole Miss Baby Quilt

We used the same Villa Rosa Bride’s Dream pattern as in our UGA, Auburn and Alabama baby quilts.  We added a Kaufman Kona White border and backed it with a cool “Text Me” design.  This quilt is quilted in the ditch, along either side of the block seams and then an all over criss-cross quilting.  It drapes beautifully.

We hand-stitched the scrappy binding, so you can hardly see the stitches.   But I think this was the last of our binding hand-stitching.  As beautiful as hand stitch binding is, machine binding is efficient and polished – it will withstand all the love that will come its way!

We have listed this quilt on our shop, but if you would like a custom order, feel free to reach out to us – we’d be happy to help create your one-of-a-kind baby quilt!

Thanks for stopping by!
