Tis the season for some college football playoffs and we have a beautiful quilt ready for a Clemson fan! AND we now have a pattern for this quilt available in our shop!
We love how this quilt turned out! We created 6” x 6” blocks by framing 4” x 6” rectangles with 1” x 6” strips on the 4” side. We then laid the blocks out in an alternating pattern to give the quilt a basket weave look.
The larger squares really showcase these beautiful fabrics and colors and you’ll find a sweet bunny or fox popping up here and there!
You’ll find a good mix of Cotton + Steel, Moda, Riley Blake and various other fabrics we’ve collected in our stash. A list of fabrics used is on .
But our most favorite was the backing fabric. We used a beautiful Liberty of London fabric calld London Bellis Purple A, and let me tell you, Liberty of London lives up to all of its hype!
The quilt is lightweight but warm enough for winters here in the South. It measures 42” x 48” and will make a wonderful and thoughtful gift – especially if Clemson wins the Championships! We have listed this quilt in our shop, but feel free to contact us if you are interested in having a custom quilt made just for you!
Stay tuned! We are busy in our shop wrapping up 2016 projects and we will be posting quite a bit!
